Rufus “Rudy’ S. Johnson, III is an award-winning architect and planner with over 40 years of experience. As the managing partner of the firm since 1982, he has successfully completed nearly 500 projects ranging in size, scope and construction cost. From small additions/renovations that cost merely thousands to large university and civic facilities, he has applied his unique hands-on approach. Each project has received his personal touch that he believes Clients deserve.
Rudy understands the importance of good communication with stakeholders as well as with all design team members. He will endeavor to ensure that the interpretation and implementation of the desires of the our Clients and their end users will become the design goals of our project team. It is his belief that successful design solutions can only be achieved through a truly collaborative design process whereby the Clients get what they want rather than what the design team wants them to have.
Johnson’s wealth of experience has included working on countless Civic, K-12, University, Correctional, and Athletic and Events facilities. These commissions provide him with the prerequisite experience required to successfully design any project.
