Freedom Elementary School opened in fall 2026 as a new Pre-K through fifth-grade school for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. The 104,081-square-foot building serves up to 850 students. Its single-story plan organizes classrooms into small learning communities around shared spaces, giving students clear routes through the school and room to grow.
A broad entrance canopy and daylit lobby create a welcoming arrival. Clerestory windows bring natural light into the building, while color, graphics, and the school’s Brave Fox identity help young students find their way. Durable materials and an energy-efficient building envelope and mechanical system were selected with long-term operation in mind.
The library, cafeteria, and gyms can support community events through controlled after-hours access. The site also includes safer pedestrian connections, separate bus and parent circulation, and space for a future 12-classroom addition. Together, these features make Freedom Elementary a school designed to serve its growing community for years to come.
