Completed in 2023, F&M Bank Arena is a multi-purpose event center in the heart of downtown Clarksville designed to serve as a year-round destination for sports, entertainment, and community events. The approximately 248,000-square-foot facility was envisioned as a flexible public assembly venue capable of hosting everything from Austin Peay basketball and ice sports to concerts, banquets, trade shows, and other large-scale events. Today, the arena serves as home to Austin Peay men’s and women’s basketball and has also welcomed the Nashville Kats as a tenant.
The main arena was designed to support a wide range of event types through its adaptable floor, seating, and rigging systems, allowing the venue to shift efficiently between athletic, entertainment, and civic uses. A secondary ice sheet with its own lobby and support spaces expands the building’s year-round functionality and strengthens its role as a regional destination for recreation, training, and public use.
As a signature civic project for Clarksville-Montgomery County, F&M Bank Arena was created to be more than an event venue. It serves as an economic driver for downtown, a home for community gathering, and a flexible facility designed to support the city’s continued growth and visibility across the region.
